George Club Chair - Large - Multi

Originally created in France and known as fauteuil confortable — meaning “comfortable armchair” — club chairs were designed with relaxation in mind. The Large George reinterprets this classic style with generous proportions and striking handwoven upholstery that brings instant character and colour to any room.

The upholstery is crafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. Strands of wool and cotton are carefully woven by hand into a Kilim rug, with natural threads forming the base and coloured yarns woven horizontally to create distinctive stripes. The fabric is then washed, brushed for a subtly antiqued finish, and meticulously trimmed before being applied to the chair’s frame and finished with elegant brass studs.

Because each piece is created using artisanal methods, every chair is unique, with individual details that enhance its character and charm.
